Calm, in four moves.
Every Iris project follows the same four-step process — structured enough to keep things moving, flexible enough to accommodate design evolution. You'll always know where your project stands, what comes next, and what we need from you at each stage.
Brief & Discovery
Every project begins with a conversation, not a form.
We discuss your design concept, the mood you want to convey, your target audience, and what the visual needs to achieve — whether that's a client approval, a competition entry, or a marketing asset. You share your drawings, references, and material palette. We return with a clear scope, timeline, and any questions before any work begins.
- —Floor plans and elevations
- —3D model if available (SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max, Rhino, DWG, and PDF all accepted)
- —Material references and mood boards
- —Camera angle preferences if you have them
No model yet? Sketches and massing diagrams are fine to start.
Concept & Direction
Before any final rendering begins, we establish the visual direction.
You'll receive a white-render preview — an unlit, untextured version of the scene — along with our proposed lighting approach and camera angles for your review. This is your first checkpoint: proportion, composition, and spatial accuracy are confirmed before we invest time in materials and atmosphere.
Approving this stage means we're aligned on the foundation. Everything that follows builds on it.
- —White render preview from agreed angles
- —Proposed lighting direction and time of day
- —Camera angle options for your selection
Refinement & Revisions
With the concept approved, we apply materials, lighting, and atmosphere.
You'll receive a detailed render preview — close to final, but fully open for feedback. Two rounds of revisions are included as standard, covering adjustments to lighting mood, material finishes, camera position, and compositional elements. Feedback is given directly — no long email threads or approval forms.
- —Lighting mood or direction adjustments
- —Material or finish substitutions
- —Minor camera repositioning
- —Compositional changes within the agreed framing
Delivery
Final files arrive organized, named, and ready to present.
We deliver in high resolution — JPEG, PNG, or TIFF depending on your use case — optimized for both screen and large-format print. Layered PSD files are available on request for in-house adjustments. For animations, we deliver MP4 in 1080p or 4K.
Delivery is always within the agreed timeline. Never rushed, always complete.
- —JPEG · PNG · TIFF (stills)
- —PSD with layers (on request)
- —MP4 in 1080p or 4K (animations)
Practical questions.
We work with SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max, Rhino, DWG, and PDF. If your model isn't complete, that's fine — even hand sketches or massing diagrams give us enough to begin building the scene. Clarity of design intent matters more than completeness of files.
